Cars Article 2011

>> Wednesday, July 20, 2011

I’d say that I drive or ride (whether a motorbike or push bike) quite literally every day. Very occasionally, I see some truly awful examples of driving by other road users. I came across just one such example today. The rain was lashing down to an extent that it was almost, but not quite, torrential.

Here’s the latest information on some considerations should you be taking a trip to Europe this summer: With the good old British weather remaining as unpredictable as ever, lots of families are packing up their cars and driving to Europe’s holiday spots for a summer get away. Wherever you’re headed, breakdown cover and road safety.

It seems that new cars just get better and better looking. This is the fabulous new MINI Coupe and it’s an incredible two seater sports car with the usual go-kart handling and exuberant performance.

Sometimes a car comes along that simply makes you think ‘I must have one’. I certainly get this feeling from the new Range Rover Evoque. As James May may describe it, I believe it will give you the ‘fizz’ in a certain place should you be able to purchase one. Watch the review by 'New Auto Cars 2011'.

Sometimes, I read or see a car review and actually wince. You’ll know if it’s a particularly bad one as I’ll do this several times as I’m reading. Certain superlatives used in the car world really drive me nuts.

Driven.co.uk have just published an interesting list of iPhone apps aimed at drivers. The list includes some useful and some novelty apps. We’ve written about some others apps a couple of times before but never worked on getting a decent list together.

If you’re going abroad, you may want to consider the fact that if you commit any offences on the road then you’re unlikely to be treated with much sympathy. That being the case, read on how a company might just be able to save you money… Motoring across the Channel can work out expensive.
